A secondary school in North Finchley has had a total fire alarm upgrade thanks to work T. & J. Fire carried out over the summer months. Nine Advanced addressable fire alarm panels and associated equipment were installed during the summer break to completely revamp the original ageing fire alarm system. Removed from site was a mixture of addressable and conventional systems and replacing this is the state of the Advanced panels. In total over 2km of network cables were installed in a fault tolerant network across the Nine separate buildings. Bringing greater consistency of fire alarm signal to the entire site and speeding up the reporting of fire’s and faults on the system to the maintenance staff.

This ambitious project was carried out in three main phases across the summer holidays and completed within time and on budget.
