Vaccination offers the best protection against the virus both for staff and care home residents. From 11 November 2021, new legislation came into force, all care home workers, and anyone entering care homes, will need to be fully vaccinated, unless they are exempt under the regulations. This new legislation also includes contractors who need to come inside the home. Put simply, anyone working within a CQC-registered care home in England must have 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, or have proof of exemption.
At T. J. Fire & Security we take these obligations seriously and are committed to ensuring that all technicians entering care homes (or similar environments) are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including booster doses where appropriate. Proof of vaccination is held centrally at Head Office and is available on request, additionally staff visiting these affected premises will also have proof available of their own vaccinated status. We are dedicated to keeping all customers and staff safe, while we, as a community, continue to battle Covid-19.
